Amanda Lurie Clinical Psychology

Coronavirus - COVID-19

On account of my experience in medicine and trauma, which include working as an advisor for NICE on psychological rehabilitation in ICU, I have the expertise to provide psychological therapy and treatment to those who have suffered from COVID-19.

My skill base and experience also allows me to treat the other psychological difficulties that current circumstances have caused and contributed to.

I am currently providing sessions virtually over Zoom and FaceTime or by telephone. I will be resuming face-to-face sessions once the government advice allows.

If you would like to make a booking for a virtual appointment please contact me via email at amanda.lurie@icloud.com or by phone on 07962921170 and leave a voice message with your name and contact details.

My approach

The first meeting is an assessment so that I can understand what it is that is causing you concern. Sometimes the process of talking and clarifying things can be enough in itself, but at other times ongoing therapy might be appropriate.

What happens next?

If you feel I can help we will arrange to meet for an initial assessment session which usually lasts for 1 hour at a cost of £130-£150. I see patients in the Greater Manchester area, Stockport and Cheshire. I also provide clinical psychological services in North West London.

We will arrange at a mutually convenient appointment time. These subsequent sessions will cost between £75-£90.

If I don't not feel I am the best person to help you, I will try and match you with an alternative which may be of value.

If you are interested in meeting with me please email me at amanda.lurie@icloud.com or call me on 07962921170, providing me with you contact details.
